
Al Nasr Sports Club organized an “Integrity and Anti-Doping” workshop in cooperation with the UAE Pro League, as part of the requirements and standards of the UAE Club Licensing Regulations.
Players and members of the technical, administrative and medical staff of the First Team and Under-23 team took part in the workshop.
The session was delivered by Mr. Ghanem Saleh Ghawanimah, Legal Adviser at the UAE Pro League, who explained the main rules and regulations related to sports integrity and anti-doping.
The workshop covered anti-doping regulations, the risks of using banned substances, and their negative impact on players’ health and professional careers. It also explained the possible penalties and consequences of breaking the relevant rules and regulations.
The session also highlighted the risks of match-fixing and betting, as well as the penalties and negative effects these practices can have on players and clubs. Players were also informed about their responsibilities and how to respond to any attempt to involve them in practices that go against the principles of sports integrity.
