12 Al Nasr Players Called Up for UAE National Teams During International Break

Al Nasr will be represented by 12 players across different UAE national teams during the international break, with players from the first team and youth age groups selected for upcoming tournaments and training camps.

First-team duo Essam Faiz and Zayed Al Zaabi have been named in the UAE squad for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, which will take place in Saudi Arabia from 23 September to 6 October.

The UAE will compete in Group B alongside Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen, and will begin the tournament against Yemen on 24 September.

At U23 level, four Al Nasr players have been selected in the final UAE Olympic team squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan: Saeed Salem Muqaddami, Mubarak Ahmed Bani Zama, Ali Abdulaziz Al Blooshi and Ahmed Raed Al Shammari.

The UAE U23 squad has travelled to Nagoya, Japan, for the Asian Games, which run from 14 September to 3 October.

Al Nasr’s academy players are also represented in the national youth teams. Hamed Bakhit Muslim and Mohamed Keita have joined the UAE U14 camp for players born in 2012 in Dubai, while Matar Ahmed Darwish, Mayed Hamad Al Falasi, Omar Ahmed Salem and Benjamin Afghan have joined the UAE U16 camp for players born in 2010 in Abu Dhabi.

The call-ups highlight Al Nasr’s strong representation across different UAE national team age groups and reflect the club’s continued role in developing national talent.
